15 over is a serious charge, however from the OPs comment it looks like he was not holding a CDL, therefore the tables in 383.51 DO NOT apply!

It's really up to the company. Most froun at 15 over.
Might want to wait a couple of years, or spend that time working for a lower end company. -
No one said it did. Still will make getting on with a good company very hard.
-
Slim to none. Sorry.

From what I understand, the points fall from your license after 2 years. So February 2021 would be a good time to look for a job requiring a CDL.

A 15 over speeding ticket with a non-CDL DL, WILL NOT make you ineligible for a CDL. All you need is to qualify for a regular DL and you can get a CDL. The exceptions are not having limbs or can't pass a physical. Those tables in 383.51 DO NOT apply retroactively. The problem after getting a CDL is the insurance company and the carrier safety dept. I know several drivers with 15 over tickets IN CMVs within the last year or so that are still driving. A single 15 over ticket with no other violations is not fatal to a CDL. Just don't get another one.

Just find small co and you should be good , i have seen people with crystal clear MVR but dumb AF and guys with records than none of the insurances even consider looking at being best drivers.....my record cleared 4.5 years ago , had someone else instead of me been insured since 2002

Should start with that next time.

You can get a job with 15 over. It all depends on the company. I got a job with a ticket at 17 over when I got out of school. How ahead and go for it, but for the love of man, slow down!!!
