"Ticket Clinic" covers a few states.
Other drivers on here have other options for you.

If trucking is going to be your lifelong career, it’s best to slow down or manage your time better.

Also getting a ticket for 15 mph over in your personal vehicle has the same consequences as if you’re driving a CMV, so it’s best to lose any bad habits you’re starting now.

    Lawyer up.
Research that county for the attorney with the best results with CDL infractions (just in case.. treat it as such).

If you have a really good previous record, they'll more than likely get that reduced to a non moving violation.
    No guarantee though.

    Don't just pay it.
It doesn't get worse if you fight.

That is only in a handful of states, not all of them. In some states it is 20 and in others 25 over. This is another 'truth' that 'everybody knows' and repeats constantly.

Now for CDL 15 over is a specific offense as Moose posted, and has nothing to do with state motor vehicle laws.

This relationship between a reckless and speeding is something that has been debated many times in these forums. However, it boils down to the simple fact it doesn't really matter. If a member is asking about a 15 over ticket that means the case is made. We are past that point. If the member would be asking about a reckless then that means they got that charge. Debating what could happen after the fact is a bit pointless. I do agree though on one aspect, a reckless can be charged if there are other elements involved.

I did not get a reckless he listed a couple reasons why.
I usually don't drive to fast at most 5 over but you don't want to hear what my excuses why I did it
I forgot to mention i told the office it was a farm truck I don't know if that's matters at all

It does not really matter. Those tables in 383.51 are clear.

That ticket is bad enough I would spend WHATEVER IT TAKES to have it reduced or removed using a ticket company or lawyer like www.offtherecordnow.com, RoadLaw, etc.

Even spending 2-4 times the cost of the ticket is still better than having it follow you for 3 years.

I dont think you needed to tell your co. till you go to court and the ruling is made, but you may call Roadlaw 888 276 8000 and see if they can put one of their lawyers one your case
