If trucking is going to be your lifelong career, it’s best to slow down or manage your time better.
Also getting a ticket for 15 mph over in your personal vehicle has the same consequences as if you’re driving a CMV, so it’s best to lose any bad habits you’re starting now.Pumpkin Oval Head, tscottme and Coffey Thank this. -
Lawyer up.
Research that county for the attorney with the best results with CDL infractions (just in case.. treat it as such).
If you have a really good previous record, they'll more than likely get that reduced to a non moving violation.
No guarantee though.
Don't just pay it.
It doesn't get worse if you fight.Dave_in_AZ, tscottme and Coffey Thank this. -
Now for CDL 15 over is a specific offense as Moose posted, and has nothing to do with state motor vehicle laws.Rideandrepair, rachi and Coffey Thank this. -

That ticket is bad enough I would spend WHATEVER IT TAKES to have it reduced or removed using a ticket company or lawyer like www.offtherecordnow.com, RoadLaw, etc.
Even spending 2-4 times the cost of the ticket is still better than having it follow you for 3 years.Rideandrepair, Dave_in_AZ, jammer910Z and 2 others Thank this. -
I dont think you needed to tell your co. till you go to court and the ruling is made, but you may call Roadlaw 888 276 8000 and see if they can put one of their lawyers one your case
Rideandrepair and Coffey Thank this.
