Sorry dude, there are superficial background checks and there are thorough background checks, I pay for the thorough ones and everything always shows up, even from California.

See what you guys miss is if your name enters the system with exceptions of some juvenal records, it is there forever. It can be a ticket or an arrest and release but it is there. These are not the MVRs where it goes back a few years but a real background check that looks at all court, dmv and other records.

Anything 15 and over is reckless. In some states it's arrest-able. Where I come from, Arrests start at 90 and up from there. That was where I was usually, the other side of the dollar.

Not too many companies are going to hire you any time soon, might be a few years before it falls off your record. Behave. Or you will find yourself marching towards a revocation/suspension that will leave you walking or riding a bike.

Different states have different rules and regulations in regards to moving violation tickets so I'd check with your state RMV/DMV/Secretary of State office first.
In two states that I have resided(Illinois and Massachusetts) any speed 21 mph and over is considered reckless driving/endangerment and it is a jailable offense(in addition,a mandatory court appearance/ summons is issued where a judge would determine any further sanctions against your license). In Massachusetts any ticket like that stays on your MVR for SIX YEARS and any trucking company will have access to it,regardless if you were driving your personal vehicle or a CMV(CMV holders are held to a much higher standard or scrutiny than regular Class D holders),plus it's a surchargable event on your insurance so it's ESSENTIAL that you keep your driving record clean!!
