Well upon further inspection this auxiliary must of been replaced over the years, tag states it’s a 1241-CT not a D like the door tag and build sheet state.

May be selling out and putting a RTLO18913A I have in place of the spicers. Can’t find someone to rebuild this, unless I lay the truck up for about a month. Unfortunately don’t want to do that. It would be the smartest thing to do, even for future issues as this is my daily driver. I’m torn on what to do.

Update, spoke to Cam in CA, he’s around $8000 for a set right now and won’t separate a 4 speed due to many people wanting them, and him being left with 5 and 6 speeds.

With the help of a good friend we put the rtlo18913 in a few weeks ago. Updated to 1810 drive shafts and yokes. It was a tough call, truck had to go to work though and I couldn’t mess around. After speaking to Cam, I’m glad I didn’t take it to a few of the shops that said they can rebuild them, because he had mentioned a lot of people say they can and they cant. I still have the boxes, linkages and mounts. A friend may want them for a restoration he is doing on on a white western star that was a v-12 and spicers factory, if he doesn’t buy them I plan to have them rebuilt and put away and eventually put them back 1 of these days when time, life and money allow. The 13 speed is definitely a nice change for right now, and it’s nice to easily get into my sleeper. Eventually I will stop reaching for the auxiliary.

Cam ask $8000 for box boxes is what your saying?

He was the only guy I could think of that would have anything quick.

    Glad you’re back to rolling…..

Yes if this is the same Cam, you were referring to. A friend send me this ad from a 2012 wheels of time. I called and spoke with him a bit.
