I went to Spirit CDL School i can vouch for them they are a wonderful school with job placement, i would say it is definitely worth it, I would say it's one of the best schools in Northern Illinois. You are treated like family there, the office ppl and both instructors are wonderful. I hope this helps i really think if you go there you WONT be disappointed worth every penny to me. :biggrin_255:

I too went to Spirit CDL in Belvidere and would highly recommend them. You will cover lots of ground in a short period of time / from book study - getting your permit / to driving in the yard and of course real time driving down the road in highway and city driving situations. Ken is well seasoned and will put you in real life situations. Let's face it; you're going to take a wrong turn and get yourself into a tight spot where you have to get turned around and or backed up etc. They will put you in those type of situations so that it's not a complete shock when it happens and you're all on your own; you've at least been put in that situation before. Most schools only train you on a 10 speed transmission. Nothing wrong with that but Spirit has another truck with an 18 so you will get experience on that as well. Also; you will be training in the same type of road truck that you will eventually run the road in, that being with a sleeper and not a day cab which is another plus. Big difference between a day cab and truck with aleeper... To sum it all up; you will get your CDL and you will have job offers from several different trucking companies. :biggrin_255:

I went there and it is a grade A school, its a great place and you learn everything you need to know and to get a job right out of school, I started a job a week after graduation, I would recommend this school to anyone.

Kewl...good 2 hear. Lots of anxiety entering the truck driving industry, I know all about it. Lots of unknowns and lots of questions. It's all good; Spirit will "calm those nerves" too...

    SpiritCDL Thanks this.
