Splitter buttons

    Indeed, more than one reverse speed CAN be very useful. I ran heavy-tow on the 401/400 series highways around Toronto, and getting back to the last exit is sometimes an hour better than crawling to the next one!!!

    That being said, I wouldn't put those tranny's in the hands of many "new drivers" just getting into the cab.

    8LL and 15 are blue, can be either standard pattern or a dash slapper

    13 is red, the RTOOs were turned around but not as common as the H

    grey with a range selector is an 18, without would be a super ten

    yellow is reverse

    I wouldn't really consider a 15 speed as having a splitter though since its for deep reduction. Unless there's a 15 speed that does have a splitter, just haven't come across it personally.

    This was the first 13 speed I learned to drive.

    I also drove dump truck with this 13 speed.
