Man oh man…. You’re right on my friend!!Mostly that pattern was found in the GM line of trucks I drove back then, and the 2 I own today. The international I drove then, and the one I own now (1987) have a different shift pattern. You would think they shared the same transmission, but there is a little difference there….

This 89 model I bought when EZ closed up only has 71,000 miles in it. Still shifts smooth as running your fingers through water. It to uses that odd pattern @Oxbow ….

Had to drive a 3 stick Mack once out of the shop across the lot and park it.
