Just walked out to my 89 GMC since I couldn’t remember. Same as we were discussing….

 

Ya I run an RTO top on an RTLO. If my back 2 ain’t turned around I can’t get it in gear. Lots of times especially if I’m tired I run the bottom out then try to flip the little button to hit 4th and 5th again.

It does mess with those kids minds.....they are convinced it’s like a genie in a bottle. Who am I to tell em it’s the same stuff they got

 

It was a lot of shifting with a 220 horse and a 58mph top legal speed for sure.

 

And those narrow powerbands...

 

Thanks for the advice, drove my first 13 speed today and even corrected my dad when he grabbed higher range and tried to put it in the low hole
