Spot Rates

Oh, I know. I spent most of the past couple of years saying: "Oh, shoot, I imagine it'll level out here in a few months..."

 

one thing I realized there are winners in both types of economies. The goal is setting yourself up so that no matter what you win. Unfortunately one of those types of economies means you prospering when everyone else or majority of the people are losing.

something that was revealed in 2008 when the housing market crashed yet somehow people made billions on that crash.

 

It reminds me of crawling out of a bar fight on hands and knees...you're cut and bruised and bleeding and somebody bit half your ear off but you're still moving under your own power. For now anyway.
I'm not complaining and I'll be alright but every day I see people who kept telling themselves that it couldn't possibly get any worse. Then it did.
For a lot of people in the same line of work I'm in the times are truly desperate. I wish I had the work and the money to hire all the good people and buy the good machinery that's available right now.
