Spring brake check valve

    I have pulled this trailer 4 year ago! It has been sitting, did a service on the axles and put air to when I did. That said, this is the first time in 4 years it has been hooked up.

    Probably just gummed up. Un screw the valve apart and clean parts with brake clean. May save you a few bucks and a trip to the parts house.

    I did that first thing, the diaphram fell apart upon disassembly. I ordered one yesterday should be here tomorrow. No one local or Wichita, Great Bend has it so here I sit. I put a coupler on the air line and took the truck for fuel, can't say I noticed any difference in braking or brake release time? I did pull the trailer to the truck stop 5~6 miles.
