Spring ride Reefer?

    When air ride first got popular, it was all the rage and everybody wanted their product hauled on air. The truth is, there isn't a huge difference in loaded ride quality. Empty or light loads it's a pretty big difference but a air ride loaded heavy is still pretty rough due to the bag pressures being so high.

    We had a '83 FL on springs that rode like a bucking mule (they don't call them freight shakers for nothing). Trying to make the ride better we installed a air ride. After it was all said and done, the difference in ride quality wasn't hardly worth the time and expense for the swap.

    Hauled a lot of that years ago myself. Not sure anyone used air ride for that, but I don't think I would.
