sprint data service question who has sprint?

I was going to switch from Sprint to US Cellular one day until when I came home and my wife hands me a new phone and a new 2 yr contract with Sprint. I am so tired of Sprint.

 

Central OH to Ft. Myers, FL every other week...had it drop twice, most of the time it's in 4g on my galaxy s4...I rooted my phone and have unlimited WiFi hotspot on my galaxy s4

 

I always have/upgrade to what ever the latest greatest is.

Currently using Samsung Note 4. Pretty much an over sized S5 but has a stylus pen.

I need more than voice. When I need to lookup satellite view or need google maps.. 1x wont even send a txt. That and Sprint had little to no LTE coverage until recently. Verizon has LTE virtyally anywhere a tower is.

I dont go to Mn too much.. so I cant debate the coverage there with you. Verizon has spots here and there with poor signal. They arent perfect. Tell me a carrier that is and I'll drop Verizon like a bad habit. But compared to Sprint.. Verizon has 5 - 6 times the coverage area then Sprint.

verizont doesn't have 5 - 6 times the coverage of sprint.
sprint dont have a contrac. to use verizon towers. but they do have fcc permission to use rural carriers. excluding verizon. which means greatly expanded coverage. and it's only been 4 months.

i've been to lots of places in the northeast where verizon was MIA. never had a problem with sprint when i was back east 15 years ago. can't imagine it be any different now

i'm strictly west coast. just recently reactivated an old sprint phone. it works every where verizon works now. i activated on the no contract no credit check deal. i have unlimited everything for $60. i root my phone so i can use a tether app. most of the common apps we all use are now rigged to check for subscription status.

while i can't speak for the entire west side. i can speak for nevada and wyoming. and my sprint phone works just fine.

i use my sprint phone for internet. i still have my verizon phone for calls. my verizon bill is 2.5 times higher for 10 gigs then my sprint bill is for unlimited everything.

sprint is under new ownership and ceo and they are determined to have the bigger footprint over verizon. the new ceo did it in korea i think it was. and was broought over to america to do it again.

out here on the west, verizon has there dead spots. when verizon works, so does sprint. when verizon don't. sprint sometimes is still there.
i do know an area in utah and montana, where sprint works just fine, and verizon is MIA. and unless things have changed since i was in oklahoma or the virginias. verizon didn't work there for the most part either. only place my verizon phone worked in oklahoma. was the toll interstate 44.

i can't complain about sprint. i have lots to complain about verizon. locked down phones, missing features that make it harder to tamper with. waking up in the morning to have my phone stripped of my search engine and replaced with bing. not only is verizon money greedy. they're control freaks also. and sprint is pushing to be a serious threat to verizon. but only time will tell how that idea pans out.
