Hello everyone, Glad to be here!! I hale from North Mobile County, AL, "ROLL TIDE", I moved to East Texas in 1990. Married with one grown and one home. I have been a company driver for 28 years. I've pulled tanks about 2/3rds of that time, split up between cryogenics and general bulk chemicals. The other 1/3rd has been reefer and dry box, some doubles. I just purchased my 1st truck. It's nothing fancy but it's a newer truck, 2012 Prostar+ with Maxx Force 13, 475hp, 10sp od with 355s 78,000 miles. Also has a factory installed APU, inverter and fridge. My payments are below $1,000.00 monthly and I use good common sense in managing finances. If I follow the freight, I should be be successful. I have a lot to learn about this side of the industry, so I will be asking the "SUCCESSFUL O/O" for guidance. Thanks in advance for your sound advice, and I look forward to making new friends.
