Just get some quality chrome pipes from Lincoln Chrome or Dynaflex. Stainless will discolor like others have mentioned plus you will get light scratches in them from scrubbing them.

What are we talking as far as longevity ss vs chrome?!

I've never kept a set long enough to determine longevity. However, the chrome will start to rust fairly quickly. The constant hot/cold and water takes its toll. I take some really fine brillow to them often. The rocks and road crap pit the face of the stacks quickly and often. Obviously where you run effects this.

If it were me, I’d keep your weed burner exhaust and just hang some pipes on the cab. You’ll get the look you want and the pipes will last forever because they’re not getting hot and the bugs won’t get baked onto them. Just buy the complete kit with elbows and everything and don’t hook them up.
lester Thanks this. -
