Keep the chrome clean and it should be fine. It'll get dull and ugly during winter but as long as you keep the salt buildup off they should last a good long while.

Go with the blackout look. Its all the rage with the Zoomers
Blue jeans Thanks this. -
Chrome will last. Yeah it will get rust spots in the winter and they are a bugger to keep clean all the time. But they can usually be cleaned up again with some elbow grease. I think I have lincolns on mine and it's dirty more than clean. A good wash job and they shine again.
If you do put straights on and are worried about the noise in cab put on the tallest stacks you can and no turnoutsRubber duck kw Thanks this. -

It all looks cool until it rolls coal out the side instead of out the stacks

On a nice truck I'd do dummy pipes every dang time. Buddy has nice 389 with dummy pipes and weed burner. Too many trucks that run DEF with that crap slobbering down the stacks and getting all over everything.

Even with aussie turn outs the only thing I hate about my stacks is the fact that the rain that gets in them turns into back rain when it comes back out. I try to be mindful of it and keep it slow tell I can just rip on it and make sure it’ll clear the truck and trailer but sometimes the wind just dont corporate and I get that crap all over everything. Hahaha
pavrom Thanks this. -
Here’s the pipes on mine. Dummy pipe on the driver side from the factory. It only looks goofy in the winter when it’s cold out. Lol
MACK E-6, shooter19802003, pavrom and 2 others Thank this.
