    ....Unless you’re talking about something that’s only stainless plated. Then it will be rusty in a year.

    I run 8 inch lincoln chrome with miter cut. SOME People are under the misconception that bigger is louder. Completely false. The bigger diameter is quieter and throatier. This is coming from a guy that started with 6". Yes you will need at least a resonator in line incase you get a inspection by DOT cop. I paid 3200 for the whole kit. Including smooth heat shields. Direct bolt on for 379 pete. 3 years now and still happy with the purchase NEver once have i had to polish them. Soap and water and in extreme condition still look new. . If i were to do it again however , i think i would have gone with 7". I think 7" is just more cleaner looking IMO. 8's would sound like pure gold with your motor though
