@Don379 beings up a good point, depending on where all you run you will have to have some kind of heat shield to be legal. I know PA is a stickler for them, not sure where else.

Colorado is a stickler for a resonator or muffler.
exhausted379 Thanks this. -
You got defensive and combative from here,
Per don no im not raining on anyones parade, im offering sane cost effective advice for the vast majority of trucks out here, pavrom is free to tell me hes going another way or disagrees, its unlikely hes in the 900 hp camp if his current truck has a single stack running down the passenger side.
If im projecting being defensive, youre (pn) projecting being upset -
Thanks @Diesel Dave They still shine up well. They sure get dirty fast though depending on where I am lol. Getting everything polished up next week hopefully.
@pavrom these are Lincoln chrome on my 379 and according to Dave they are over 8 years old. They still shine up really nice. Not rusted out etc. they have been through a ton of bugs lately. Lol.Diesel Dave and pavrom Thank this. -
I’d switch top pipes so both have soot in them . It looks odd with one dirty pipe lol
-
No it doesn't. 5" pipe is fine to 2,000 horsepower. And even if you were right, how many people are running 900hp? I mean there's got to be dozens of you!!lester Thanks this.
-
I just dynoed 9something to the flywheel and 750ish to the wheels. You're clueless.
-
That's great. Never said you weren't rolling mediocre power. However, "9something" doesn't warrant larger than 5" pipes from a flow perspective.
Also, any gearhead knows his last numbers by heart, and has since memorized his last dyno chart. You're full of crap, bud. "9something" and "750ish". LMFAO. Sure... If you had it, you'd know exactly what your numbers were. I'd ask you to post your last chart, but we both know you'd just go Google a picture of one.pavrom, Blue jeans, skallagrime and 2 others Thank this. -
@ProfessionalNoticer Im confused here. How does putting bigger exhaust pipe on after the turbo increase the air flow through the valves, exhaust manifold and turbo charger turbine housing?
lester, God prefers Diesels and wore out Thank this. -
You can't be serious.
