Thanks for the additional thoughts. We don't change cartridges, they are $84 here. So we just change out the whole dryer at $125. That way you get a new heat element too.

Like I said earlier too, the newest DD Detroit's no longer use air to purge the def line, but ones like mine are very dependent on dry air.

I'll keep posting if this keeps working or if it screws up again. Aren't we lucky. We get to pay 200 grand to be test pilots and trouble shooters. Awesome!! LOL.

 

I put mine in after the dryer.

I can't get to my main line after the compressor Cat sdp.......the comp on the DD15 is on the back of the engine and buried under my cab.

 

I hear you. That's why mine was such a nightmare when it froze up on the highway......you can't get to the main line. I miss my old Cat.....everything was right there out in the open.
So far I haven't had any more issues.
