I said that’s for another conversation. The focus is on being a good receiver and the parking allowed.

The trash issue just kinda happened.

I will say that this parking area isn’t inside the fence and anyone can park there. So it is possible drivers from other warehouses came here and trashed the place. Regardless it’s unacceptable and the reason we keep getting kicked out lots.

I never trashed any place I went to. Shipper, receiver or truck stop. EXCEPT. When I pull out from a dock and they leave trash, pieces of pallets or even whole pallets, then I push it all out in front of the dock door, then get down from the trailer and move it to the side so another truck won't have to run over. it. The junk they leave is part of the product they ordered and I'm not taking it with me.

That's actually one of the nice things about pulling a flatbed, step, or double drop trailer. You can just drive off and watch all the junk they left behind blow all over their parking lot as you evacuate.

I noticed that too (parking outside the fence) but I had forgotten. Tons of it too and in that area there isn't a lot of parking. Hmmm, I'll have to file that one away since I deliver in that area all the time.

That facility was pretty quick the one time I went there.

But I have to say that I parked right next to my trailer and whoever was unloading that truck was a maniac. I mean flying in and out of that trailer I thought the trailer was just going to explode. They must have been having a contest to see who could take a running start and wind up the forklift the fastest and crash into the trailer and how big of a bang could they make flying backwards out. Yes I did go inside and tell them to knock it the hell off.

But they did have good coffee there.

I think this week they are having a contest to see how many of our loaded trailers they can collect and not unload.
