Well tomorrow is last day of orientation and I'm still here, hope to be hired tomorrow. Instructors told us to talk to our families and make sure that everyone will support you. They don't have to love you being away for 5 days but they must support you if your going to succeed. But it's been a good experience so far. I'll be headed to the house tomorrow afternoon.

I went to Katlaw and the recruiter for McElroy said they make .43 right after school.

Is tarping difficult? Well, with respects, that's a relative question. I'd one is accustomed to work, i.e., manual labor, no, tarping isn't difficult. Of course, it's somewhat more tiring & time consuming at the start, but once one finds their own "stride", so to speak, it becomes easier. Now, if someone is used to sitting behind a desk or other less physical work, then I'd expect it would be a bit more difficult for that person. But that's not to say the person couldn't get used to it & handle it.

Some loads are easier to tarp than others, due shape, etc. Some loads the hardest part in the entire tarp/intarp process was folding the tarp up b/c the wind was blowing so hard at the time! lol

I actually think tarping is going to be very easy for me for a few reason 1. I'm used to manual labor never been afraid to sweet or get dirty and 2 I want the exercise it will give me I was told that 70 percent of McElroy loads are pre tarp I really hope I don't get a lot of those lol I think the hardest thing for me about it is like what rev said getting in your stride or routine
