    Thank you sir.

Well so far it's been a interesting for sure. Meet up with my trainer on Sunday afternoon. First load is a 2 stop load. Brooklyn, NY and Manhattan. Yee haw. Got them delivered no issues then off to Jersey to pick up next load. Not a fan of Jersey so far lol. Delivered that load to PA and picked up next load 70 miles away. This was a 43,000 lb load of lumber. Got going with that load then the trucks oil pressure gauge plummeted to 0. Lights and buzzers start going off then the gauge went up then down and again, again, and finally back to operating range. Did this a few more times so my trainer sent a breakdown macro in and they advised us to drive to a shop. Well we got about halfway there then they sent a message saying to go to a different shop. Ugh. Got to shop in Portville, NY and waited till this am for them to open. The verdict bad oil pressure sending unit. But they don't have one til tomorrow. So its off to the Best Western til tomorrow. :biggrin_25515:

My gauge works like that sometimes. Works for a while and then not, then works again. I checked oil and such and all's well. I'll replace sending unit when it just flat out doesn't work.

Got the truck back yesterday at 12. Drove 30 miles to get loaded. Took 5 hours to get loaded. Drove another 100 miles on I80 the clutch went bye bye.

I understand things break but this is just retarded. 2 breakdowns in 3 days. Not a good start. Starting to wonder if I made the right choice to come here

Alright. Made it home at 4:30 am Saturday morning. We waited 7 hours at the shop on Friday for someone to pick us up. TMC set us up with a rental car but we were 90 miles away from it. So another driver picked us up to take us to get the car. Well about 20 miles from the rental car place his truck starts shutting off and the low water level light comes on. So we pull over after it died 3 times and his lower radiator hose is leaking. So we call a taxi to get us the rest of the way. What a week. It has to get better. I hope.

Get all this stuff out of your system now... then it'll get better. Sorry for all the problems... it WILL get better!

Thanks. I'm sure it will. They can't possibly operate like this all the time or they'd be out of business. A lot of people would turn tail and run. Not me.

Funny how a day changes your outlook. Can't get a straight answer from anyone, they haven't even started working on the truck, I've got bills to pay and can't make money sitting around. I wish everyone at TMC the best but I'm moving on.

Wow that sucks. They dont have any loaner trucks incase of breakdowns like that. Hope this is not another sign to scratch another company off my list :biggrin_25512:

I don't know if they have loaners. You'd think they would but the trainers truck is still in PA and they don't know when he will get back out. I even tried asking for a different trainer but they said they didn't have one available.

This was just my experience. I posted everything on here from Day 1 of orientation to the end. Maybe your out come would be better. I just don't feel comfortable working for a company that cares more if the trucks clean vs if it's running. Heck the last macro they sent after the tow truck message was be sure to wash the truck before your next delivery. Didn't seem like it mattered that it was gonna be down for a few.
