Start training 9 JAN 12 with Millis

A quick up date on my situation. Last week I took the required physical for the DOT. It turns out my blood pressure was a little on the high side (152/94) so I started taking Lisinopril 10MG. After 6 days of taking it I went back again today and it was 118/76. I was given a 2 year permit. Now the other thing... They found a trace of blood in my urine. My doctor told me not to worry about it since 20% of people will have that in their sample. I'll be going back in a month or so to have it checked out again. My only concern was that Millis would not want to hire me if I did have any thing wrong with me.
As it turns out, I just got off the phone with Alice at Millis and she said I was good to go. She said as long as I have the Medical Certificate and my CDL Permit that's all she needed. I'll email those to her tomorrow.
One more hurdle down. Good luck to the other guys in my shoes just starting out.

From what I've been reading about Millis he does. There are a couple of older threads that might help answer that question. One is Another Millis Experience and the other is Millis Chat Room. Both are very good threads. Hope this helps.
