heavy, is there any other ignition fuses im missing...in case i maybe shorted something out when removing the ignition plug? i did use a screw driver to pry up on the plug and seen a small spark on the switch..but nothing major. i just think this coincidence is odd that after losing my keys the issue happened.

Is there a lift pump on a N14 like there is on a ISX?

I think the key swap is just coincidence. The key switch sends power to several different relays, so you would have a bunch of stuff not working if the ignition was faulty.

ok thanks. im guessing next stop would be injectors. probably will work a few weeks then get these pulled and tested. im sure these are worn out anyways...

im guessing for as fast as they lose prime (as soon as key is off) it has to be the injectors arent holding fuel.pressure? i dont think its the crank sensor...its not showing a code. at least on the engine light flashing diagnostics...i dont have a scanner

i talked to an injector shop today and hes betting his check its not the injectors. mentioned the 2 fittings on the back of the block that has the return and supply hard lines. said the fittings should actually be like a valve and not a regular fuel fitting. i cant confirm this anywhere ive read

Hmm, on Detroits they were. I don't know about Cummins though. Been too long now.

My n14, the return lines have brass fittings out of the block.

right...those 2 fittings is what hes talkin about. he claims they are actually valves that keep the fuel in the head. but i cant find that info anywhere. i see plenty for sale...but none of the pictures or descriptions say its anything but a regular fitting
