Start USX on 03/07/11 ??

    Filled out online App. and Eric E. sent me another App. to fill out and disclosure form (DOT drug tests).
    Filled them out and faxing Monday,so we will see what happens.
    I know they are know for having automatics but what are the chances of getting a manual trans. truck ?

    I wasn't sent the teaming disclosure was told no need to. But i would team if needed .
    I am looking to start 3/7/11 need to take of things here before leaving (taxes,baptism)

    I think the writing is on the wall for the automatics. All of the new trucks are 10 speeds, and there are a lot of new trucks. My trainer, who has a 2010 Cascadia with only 88k miles on it was called today and asked if he wanted one of the new 10 speeds. He was told all of the new trucks will be manual. This is the most definitive answer I have heard so far.

    i'm a trainer for USX, and i have a 2011 Cascadia. all the new trucks we are getting are manuals. automatics are expensive to buy and maintain. and no, my truck does NOT use DEF (thank God)!

    Yes they are all new 10 speeds,All Volvos are coming off the road March 1st.We just got 5 new Pete 587 Flattop single bunk trucks in the week before at Tunnel Hill.3500 new trucks to replace the automatics also!

    Why would they get rid of the Volvo's that still have less than 500,000 miles. that dosent make any sense to me.

    All kinds of reasons it makes sense business wise. Stocking parts and out of warranty are two.
