Start USX on 03/07/11 ??

70% of USX freight is East of I35 if that helps. Getting more and more likely each day you will get a manual. ALL of the Volvos are being pulled off the road. There are close to 100 Volvos sitting in the yard at Tunnel Hill that just got serviced and are ready to sell with more coming out of the shop every day.

 

so how is the road test? what do they look for and do they tell you right away if you pass?

 

When I took my road test I believe we drove 10-20 miles. I didn't clock it so don't hold me too it. They look to make you drive safely and follow traffic rules. When we got back to the terminal had to back it into a door and then we did a drop and hook. Before I left we did a pre trip and while I was driving I explained what I would check on the in cab inspection and how to do the brake test. I hope this helps and I believe I covered eveything.

 

Seriously, nerves are all that will mess you up. Your CDL test was harder. Just take your time and be safe and teachable

 

What I heard on the truck switch is that the leasers are getting the automatics "so that they can run them into the ground"......have almost 635K on mine and still waiting for the message to bring it in and trade.
