A major difference between Primes training program and most everyone else, is that while you're training for your cd you'll actually be on the road hauling freight. Backing into docks etc. And you'll drive 6000-10000 miles. In a school you'll be lucky if you drive 500 miles.

A question regarding Prime, Inc: Do you not get medical insurance/benefits don't start until after 1 year of service?

One week orientation no pay. One to two weeks with your permit and they will loan you 200 a week if needed. Then go back get your actual cdl license once you've got that 700 min per week for 30000 combined miles. I'm in the same situation as you just call a recruiter and get the ball rolling I'll be there by the end of the month.
