Around 4500 with hazmat minus anything u pay for before u start. Like I have my permit. So I paid for my dot physical and permit and plan on paying for hazmat soon so my cost will be less because I will already have that stuff. They are really nice down there. I plan on starting in june. Cash credit card. I'm sure u could get a loan from somewhere to help.

Three week course huh.I bet you could find a school cheaper that offers a longer course.I know you wanna hurry up and get it over with and then go with a trainer. But those crash courses puts alot of stress on trainers.

I also think Sage is the way to go in Indiana. I talked with Sage, C1, and RoadMasters all in Indianapolis and Sage sounded best and had the best price. I'm going to start at Sage this Wed the 21st but I will only be doing some driving classes. My situation is different than most people. And if all goes well I will have my Class A on the 24th.

C-1,,, What a joke. I looked at the Sunday newspaper this week. They have only a two year driving requirement to become an instructor.

Also the funding dried up right befoe I started in Indy Sage. I will not qualiry untill in September.
Would I be worth it to wait until the winter next year,,, for ice snow driving? Or just learn how in the summer?

Credit cards are nicer than sitting around drawing unemployment.

Have you looked into the grants and other financial aid that is out there?
It was not a option for me but there is lots of tax payers money out there to use if you qualify.

If you have the funds and trucking is something you really want to do. Start ASAP... I have been kicking myself in the ### for not starting 8 months ago when I had the chance. But this is also something I KNOW I will enjoy.

The 3 weeks is just the classroom time. You'll be there closer to 5 if they got quite a few people going when you do. When I went it took 6 due to the amount of people enrolled.
