Think abuot going to Indy. You will get Large city type driving. In Muncie only small town, will have a hard time if you drive down around Indy.

Also they have more trucks. You will be learning in the Schnider truck driving terminal. Called the "farm". They hiure the grads out of that school, and give them cheap rent in exchange. Also there is a ramada about one block away. Ask Regie, the head guy there. Almost got in,,, but I used a WIA grant about a year ago,,, That disqualifyed me from the grants,,,,

If I had money to pay for school and pay for a motel for 3 weeks I would go in a heartbeat but since I am from fort Wayne and have family in Marion Muncie is closer. Indy would be great bc of the city driving but Muncie is crowded and has tight spaces. Wish they had one in fort Wayne. But I agree if u can go to Indy

hey Aclay. be sure to keep updated on your progress and how the courses go. i'm considering Sage as a possibility in the future since my current job might be summer only.

also Sage used to have a location in Kendallville but closed it at some point. i'm not sure when exactly, had to have been since 2008 though since i attended an orientation type thing at Ivy Tech here in the Fort.

I finally got into class. I did four 4 hour drives. Then passed my Class A CDL skills test. I start with a trainer on the 8th of May.
This has been a long time coming for me and I'm glad its finally over.
I am going to be hauling for a tank company. The same company I have been a mechanic for, for four years now.
    I can't wait to start.
