    just curious....how long from day one as an inexperienced driver till i get pay...need to tell wife and i have heard it is three weeks training and then orientation and then start getting pay for six weeks of 600 weekly or 12 cents a mile...which ever is greater....then come back get cdl a and then regular mileage pay....thanks and stay safe

    18 days unpaid, get your CDL at the end of that. 3 days orientation, then you will start getting paid when you go out with your trainer. your first payday will be one week after you start with your trainer on Friday. If you left with your trainer on monday Nov 21st, you would be paid on Friday Dec 2nd.
    Training pay is about 460 a week
    That's the way my recruiter explained it.

    is a military style duffel bag way to big for me to use for my clothing while i am training...i know there is not a lot of room in the truck....just don't want to over crowd any more than i have to...thanks and stay safe all

    you may even get an e-mail msg. back from that recruiter??? thats what I got an it was only 30 mins. after I sent the app.
