Thanks for the info. I have narrowed it down to Swift, Knight, Gordon Trucking and now Prime. Are the owners of Swift and Knight brothers? Also I heard that Knight bought out Central Refrig. Is that true? I have been reading this on the threads.
Been here over 5 years, and never fingerprinted a load. Never will. Been there, done that, back when I first started trucking, but that's all over now. (Well, I guess I should never say "never." )
What is fingerpointing a load? Getting up to date on all terms so when I get ready to assume a driving job I know what I am looking at instead of standing in front of other drivers with the deer in the headlights look.
fingerprinting a load = driver unload via hand(pump) jack, or just physically hand unloading each box, tire, or whatever else is on the trailer.
Thanks. Is there a post somewhere in here that has all the terms/slang that all you drivers use or is OJT.
