I meant did Knight not give you many miles when you ran for them? Because you said you only did OK there? Thanks for the suggestion on Heyl, I will look into them.

I pushed Knight hard and averaged about 34k paid miles per quarter. That is burning my 14 almost every day. My load average was 525 but company average was 450. Biggest issue I had with Knight was finding an MT. The yards are normally full of loaded trailers and drivers hooked to MTs. Even drivers on home time hooked to MTs.

Yeah the my issue wasis a big thing with them. I did or 11 months with them and ran 100,000+ in that time before getting a local thing with them. They have a sliding pay scale. Starts at 31 CPM and caps at 38. If you have a good dispatcher at Lakeland you can run descent.

You don't ever have to do a driver unload at Knight because they are non-forced dispatch. I don't mind tailgaiting a palletized load with a hand truck but I'm not doing a tire load. Pay is 34 cpm starting out. Pay raise of a penny at 90 days, 6 months and year then 1/2 penny every year after that. They expect you to run at least 2400 miles every week and 10k for the month so I'd say those should be the min. you can expect. Knight having a lot of terminals does come in handy when looking for a place to park as well as getting work done on your truck.
