Starter problem please advise

    2015 freightliner with DD15
    I've been burning up starters about every 6 weeks. What is happening is my starter tries to engage when I am going down the road

    It generally happens when I am accelerating from say 60 to 70. Or when I engage my engine brake trying to slow down from 75mph.

    Change you windshield's seal... Water goes into sam cab and activates starter.

    You obviously got a short. It's most likely the ignition switch or ignition switch wiring.

    Follow the small wire from starter to see if its rubbed raw on the big hot wire all the way to switch while looking for any place water is getting into inside of truck?
