I know the 42MT for a cat 3406e/c15 is 11 tooth gear and clocked different than detroit and Cummins.

They make a 39MT to fit a cat? Just wondered

The rotatable flange model is 8200308 and is listed for 3406/C15, Series 60, and ISX. They don't list the 855/N14 on any of them but I would guess it would be the same as the others.

How been bubba. Aint talked to you in a while. Looks like you got plenty of projects brother.

Yeah, i just bought a new 42MT and put on. Dam thing was a pain to wrestle up in there. Those 39MT seem alot lightee, but higher torque from what ive seen. I appreciate the info bud

Doing good, to many projects to be honest. How have things been.

I still have an old boat anchor 42mt myself, didn't know about the 39 when I replaced it. Only weighs 30lbs, that would be real nice putting in compared to the old ones.

I would if I was working on replacing my starter. I put anti-seize on just about everything I work on unless something requires lock-tite. You don't have to use alot of it but it can go a long ways. It just makes things come apart alot easier when you have to work on the same jobs again.

    snowman_w900 and Heavyd Thank this.

Antiseize goes on almost everything. The only thing i don't put it on is inside the engine, and ujoint cap bolts.

Heavyd, SAR and snowman_w900 Thank this.
