I agree on the tapping deal. Although we did have a driver that happened to...boss told him to tap on the starter...he tapped the solenoid and busted it.

How much have you guys gotten the brush kits for? I've never seen them. As long as the armature and the bearings are okay pysically the brushes are the only wearing part to an electric motor.
