Last insurance quote I got for a 2016 Cascadia was $2300 down $1200/ month. For a 2005 Columbia was $9600/ yr. Your insurance depends on you experience, driving history, credit and year of the truck

Except to work all day. Ports open at what- 6 am? So expect to work from 6 to close. 50/60 hrs a week. Pay depends, there are some that pay 22/hr and others pay a lot less.

    7seriestv Thanks this.

    Monday-Friday
6-7am start until finish. Usually around 4-6pm. No weekends at this company

I work for a small mom and pop company where they watch and control EVERYThing. No 1.5 after 40. All straight time. There are companies that pay decent hourly money with 1.5 after 40/45/50/55. It all varies.

Depends, do they want lease operators or true Owner Operators? I know guys that are L/O's that only carry bobtail nothing more and use the company for everything else. I know O/O's that have everything, including own authority that use the company only in the role of a broker.

They do installments, and he can use a factoring company to get paid quicker, also have an option to get a certain percent of the rate upfront for fuel, yes the smartest thing to do is have some working capital preferably raw cash readily available but if he don't other options available
