Thanks for the advice, but Swift is saying I will average around $1500 a week net with no truck payment, surley these trucks can do better than that, I don't want to be running these trucks for free basically, and the company I was talking to RAFA has like 70-80 trucks already running under their authority and I am sure have good relations with some of these brokers, instead of me going out with my own authority and trying to build relations with brokers, again I could just sell them and get instant profit, but I might never find trucks this cheap again. and there is nothing wrong with them, outside of minor things that we have fixed, like going through and servicing everything like filters and oil change and same with the APU's my friend works at International and has the software to hook up to them and can read everything about the trucks histories, I only paid 20k for the both of them and prolly put another few thousand in them now just again doing little stuff here and there. and I know why they were repoed I have good relations with these banks that I buy vehicles through.

Give it a shot, but I would not count on those numbers. And drivers, the rule of ten still applies. you go through ten to find one keeper that will actually stay with you, if you are lucky. Then you have to hope your trucks survive the other nine drivers. These guys will tear a truck up in a NY minute, and or worse. Been there and done that.

I paid 9k for the International which the guy financed through the bank for 30k and only owned it for 5 months, he was ex military and had never driven before and went out and bought this truck and had severe ptsd and a wife that really didn't want him gone, so he just said screw it come get the truck. the freightliner I paid 11k for. Also my friend at International has hooked up his software to read everything on the internationals history and went through it top to bottom, we did all the filters on the truck and apu with the oil change it is a good running truck

I know folks that have owned them, they run for a week, down for two or three, and very expensive to repair. Learn how to do an EGR tuneup, it involves breaking out the tools and removing the soot from components on the motor as well as replacing sensors, and they create soot like Carter makes Liver Pills. Your buddy at the International dealer should be able to point you to the problem areas in that motor, as there are a few. I do not believe that was a good deal... I would sell it ASAP, and I own a ProStar.

500k International Maxxforce from a repo auction. I can't think of the worse combination. Sell for whatever money you can get.
Forget about hiring drivers until you run on your own for a couple of years.Fresh example-
Check Misesian thread on how he bought another truck and hired his buddy to run it
