That's an important one Chinatown, although we all hope those kind of roadside emergencies are few and far between. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was going to list it, and then I hit your post. As usual, you provide lots of good info for this forum. Good luck to the OP!

What about a magnetic flashlight? Would be handy when checking the fifth wheel and under the trailer.

I have found those head band flash lights invaluable around the farm ! When feeding at night with one arm full of hay and one arm with
9 dishes of grain for 9 horses , your head is the only thing left to hold something! lol ... they make some amazing models these days.

No one said it yet but the most important is to bring your brain. So many drivers leave those at home lately.

Yeah, I have one of those head band flashlights from the Army, definitely better than trying to hold a flashlight with your teeth lol

I like having a CB radio. Not much going on there anymore, but usually when you run into a traffic back up truckers are advising wich lane is best.

Also, zip ties... when Tandems are slid way up, it helps to lift the dangling lines higher. Good for hiding spare keys, hold up a dangling landing gear crank handle. ..ect.
