Not OTR. They never asked me for OTR experience. She said driving experience. I was talking to Heartland before Boyd and they said specifically OTR.

But anyways my history is about 1.5 years OTR then I went to an LTL company for the last 7. My job title is P&D (pick up and delivery) which is local, but in reality I mostly cover for the line haul drivers every night and so Im required to keep logs every day since I could be heading out anytime plus I might only work in the city 1 or 2 weeks then Im back out on the road. And we do stay out sometimes but we sleep in hotels instead of trucks. And line haul is mileage pay not hourly. either way Im driving a truck every single day so I didnt think it would matter.

Maybe I should explain all that to the recruiter but I just assumed...

do you think it makes a difference?

I talked to the recruiter today and she said as long as I have some OTR then they count local driving. Sorry I kind of freaked out but some companies differ between the two and I really dont like the idea of quitting my job and then being jobless because of some miscommunication... especially in todays economy. But as long as they take me Im not gonna cry too much about the pennies. I just cant be jobless:naka:

It's a week in bham or cincy, four or five weeks with trainer, than one week in bham for test out. N I wanna say its five weeks out now. I haven't had a student in my truck this summer so not 100% sure.

1000 n 1250, u will understand when u get there. Don't speak outta turn. David hates that. Other than that, its a cake walk. Be respectfully n nice to all n u will move on. Any other questions just shoot.
