Starting at Stevens

Well orI is over for most of class I'm on Med hold still go get xray tomorrow and do lift test. Should be able to finish skills and road test then. Everything else is done and I'm ready to go. Taking bags with me so maybe I can get trainer tomorrow at earliest if not Friday. Man do they throw a lot at u in 4 days. Its gonna take five weeks to grasp it all. Don't even have a clue about QC but guess most that is learned in first five weeks. How many trainers need trainees. I know seven or eight went out today and first thing early morning.

 

Sorry been busy. Got released from Med hold thurday around 4 got road test done and skills that afternoon. Next morning got there before roll call had all my cards by 815. Randell called roll and appointed me his runner. By 1115 had my trainer on yard. He was on 36 hr reset left this morning at around 8 after got small coolant leak fixed. He drove today so I could just observe. Tomorrow is my day we only have about 650 more miles till first load delivers. He wants me to drive at least 300 first day. Trainer seems to be a good trainer. So for all trainers I apologize for allowing myself to believe all the horror stories about you guys.

 

Will do. I'm excited got new career in front of me. Alliance program seems like it could be a good deal for me aswell.

 

Knocked out 400 miles first day and last night knocked out 340. Headed from Davenport Iowa to Fort Worth. Sitting in Oklahoma now. Really enjoying it. Still got a lot of work to do. But its coming. My shifting is ok. But have hard tiime with breaks coming to stop. I'm either to light or to hard on them. I'm on day three driving. So gonna get some sleep head out bout 6

 

My trainer is really open and honest about alliance program. He has told me a lot and I know its hard to make money at it. He also has told me how he has lost money at it aswell. Just for the record I'm averaging 8.9 MPG right now.
