The tarps that you get from Malone are good quality. When I leased to them they charged about $200 to finance the equipment for you. If you don't have the cash to buy it then it is a good way to go. The $1,700 price may be for used equipment. At one time they did have some used that others didn't pay for or left when then left the company. There is usually nothing wrong with the used in most cases.

I keep seeing that Mercer doesn't have freight...you have to wait days on loads... and although I have 15 years experience my flatbed experience is very limited, I was told I wouldn't be accepted so I didn't try

Mercer doesn't have freight? I must be extremely lucky then, I never have to sit and wait and can always find good freight to put on my trailer. Stay off the west coast and there is enough good paying freight to make your head spin.

There always someone on trucking boards selling flatbed stuff.
It's always better to have your own paid for stuff. That's less $$ coming out of your settlement. There's already enough stuff to pay for when starting like plates, escrow, etc.
Truck Pro sells bungees that have JB and a crown on them. I remember that brand from years ago they are factory crimped.SHC Thanks this. -
lol, mercer doesnt have freight. i must have missed the memo, i need to sit a while, lol.
and if ya dont have flatbed, mercer will take you. they have a flatbed class at the warehouse in louisville, one day deal.
oscar, wonder who keeps spreading these rumors, lol.
clasix, let me guess, mercer didnt tell you that did they. some driver told you that. oh, wellDEMO Thanks this. -
You only need a couple of dozen bungees with crimped ends, if your pulling a bed you probably already have a 3lb sledge just make your own.
