    FL's Can't pull there arse out of a 2" hole let alone a 80K load up a mild hill!!:yes2557::biggrin_255:

AT I remember you saying something about you able to take a shower in your truck when it rains:biggrin_255:, What about that center post you have in your windshield:biggrin_2552:? We don't have one... So we can see everything even behind us:biggrin_25520: Must be engineered better to eliminate it??:yes2557:

no i stay out months at a time, they just ask that you stay out 3-4 weeks but im sure if you needed time off for something they'd work with you. All you do is call our Hometime person and tell her when you want to be home and how long you want to be there and thats is no questions asked.

100% of the outbound freight from conover is furniture.

    LOL....[IMG]

The way I see it? And keep in mind I had my heart set on a Freightliner because it's the only truck I had any (and all) my experience with and I had the plan for setting up the inside all worked out in my head from my month OTR before school.

    Fl's have more room.
Volvos are quieter. (both running and sleeping in)
    FL's have more room.
Volvos turn tighter (not "necessary" but nice)
    FL's have more room.
Volvos are smoother (the heck with shaking freight, it's better on my back)
    FL's have more room.
Volvos (with the Cummins) pull like an elephant! (FL's would too with that sweet beast)
    FL's have more room.
Volvos have a 3 stage Jake (a nice little feature)
    FL's have more room.
Volvos have a far more adjustable steering wheel
    FL's have more room.

After a tad more than 6 months driving a Volvo and realizing that 95% of my time is spent driving, the "more room" of an FL just doesn't mean all that much to me anymore...:biggrin_25513:

Logical adult: The Volvo has some draw backs for those who require large expanses of room to maintain life while enjoying those many 34 hr resets.

Nonsensical kid: Volvo = POS. :biggrin_2556:

    close but not quite!:biggrin_25513:

    Fl's have more room.
Volvos are quieter. (both running and sleeping in)

    True

    FL's have more room.
Volvos turn tighter (not "necessary" but nice)

False The Cascaidias can turn circles around the Volvos, in fact they have the tightest turning steers in trucking (degrees wise) And the Century class FL's turns just as tight as the Volvo. But The Columbias your right no not turn very well

    FL's have more room.
Volvos are smoother (the heck with shaking freight, it's better on my back)

    True

    FL's have more room.
Volvos (with the Cummins) pull like an elephant! (FL's would too with that
    sweet beast)

    True

    FL's have more room.
Volvos have a 3 stage Jake (a nice little feature)

False The Centurys and the Cascaidas have 3 stage jakes as well

    FL's have more room.
Volvos have a far more adjustable steering wheel

False The Centurys are just as adjustable and the Cascaidias have the most driver freindly cab of any truck on the road. (BIG door handle made to be opened WITH gloves, BIG pedals with lots of space between made to be used with BIG Boots on, Very adjustable seats and steering wheels to fit drivers from my size up to the 500lbs wounders of the trucking world

And your Volvos are heavyer so harder to scale a heavy load:biggrin_25522:
