Did you chose Schneider over any other mega? What convinced you to go Schneider?

    Cheers.

I went with Schneider for many reasons. Going through a company paid CDL program - they were the least expensive I saw if you left before the time they want you to commit. Also, the shortest time to commit. Their benefits seem reasonable cost wise. They seem to have a large assortment of runs available - regional, OTR and dedicated. I still have a while to wait - I don't go until November 8th unless someone backs out before that.

I have to talk to them tomorrow. I was called by another decent company today. I was explained the training process. I thought it was a lot of miles to do with the trainer. Now, I'm not criticizing time with a trainer, but 30,000 miles is a lot to me.

    Best of luck.

    30,000 miles is completely unnecessary.
That said, 5 days +/- with a Schneider trainer is probably a bit too brief. Unless you're riding with @gentleroger.

I think you're making the right move. My research brought me to the same conclusion, that Schneider is the best mega to start with. Last minute decided to pay out of pocket and my local school is a dump. I'd imagine Schneider offers excellent training since you'll be driving their equipment. Good luck on your journey.
