Is there a overview I can read somewhere on how to begin to understand how to best approach doing my taxes now that I have decided to go lease purchase with KLLM?

also..... when searching for a tax rep for truckers... should I look to a CPA? a tax attorney? I refuse to go to H+R Block and trust someone who took a "weekend course"....

is it better to do quarterly or annually?

so many questions..... so little knowledge on where to start..... :biggrin_25511:

Just say "NO" to H&R Block and similar companies like that one that runs out of Walmart. I've been told many times by different CPA's and Tax Attorney's that they're a red flag for an audit.
Get yourself on board with a CPA, one that has done tax work for people in your business situation. Talk to more than one and go with the firm you think is best. They will then tell you what you need regarding taxes and your business.

OMG.......hadn't you learned (or read) things here on THIS website regarding lease/purchase plans...?? well it's a done deal for you now and I DO wish you all the best. maybe you ought to seek a REAL CPA familiar with the trucking industry, and i do believe you might want to have a lawyer as well. because you never know when you will need one....i would HIGHLY recommend you join the OOIDA. they have companies listed in thier monthly magazine such as trucker's lawyers, and accountants. plus i think you can get discounts on many things.

well, it's all up to you now, for sure, i wish you all the best.
