I'm told it's in the Swift Driver Manual, rules and regulations, logs, speed limits, policies and procedures.

I live in Central Virginia very close to the I-81/I-64 corridor. I was curious about attending a driving school through a local collage. I have a wife and a infant son I would like to be home at least every weekend to 10 days starting out. How realistic is this and how much can I expect to make? I know there are many major warehouses in the area.

Roehl and Schneider have something like 7/7, 14/7 but getting home every weekend when you're beginning? Not likely. Not impossible but not likely and definitely not while you're training for the first few months or so.

I started in 1962...put you money somewhere besides a truck. Don't even consider it . Not to be considered after the 1980's

Great comment, you definitely néed to an up, bite the bullet, and get the experience. Small price to pay for what you will be getting out of,it down the road.
