I have been looking into Maverick, and I just did an online app with them, waiting to hear back. I'm not sure if I want to do refer of flatbed....I am hoping to be able to run through Missouri occasionally.

Flat bed is not that bad as everyone says. My trainer lives in muzz we got alot of good loads. Load one day a drive all the next.stated in the mid west I like it out there. But now I'm mustly out east cause I live in bama. I enjoy flatbed. But there are a lot of refer drivers on here you could talk to about it cause i have know clue about tcd except the home time. But there getting great miles right now cause there not that many of them. There hire them like crazy. Wish u the best of luck in your choice.

Had a lumber load today and there was two mav driver who helped me TARP it. And strap it down. Then got to a pilot tonight and it was packed so out of the blue a mav came and blocked the other trucks and watched me in. Now that's family. By tomorrow ill have 2600 miles fir the week.

We use flat bed trailers loaded with concrete K Rail as ballast. I have to admit that it is nice to be able to see over your trailer.

Well, it sounds like a really good company. I spoke with one of the recruiters again yesterday, and gave them the go-ahead to start the background check etc. Unless I have a criminal past that I have forgotten about, I should start in January in the flatbed division. I am looking forward to learning something new.

No you don't have to go out with a trainer. You have to go do 3-5 day on load securment and do a drive test. .
