Dont use a bug jug to pee in. Use one that will hold what would be a hefty single serving and the next time you go to a restroom, dump it out in the toilet, spray the inside with rubbing alcohol and reuse. A big jug is just asking for trouble either for you or the guy that has to empty the trash can

If I did that I'd never get anywhere..I generally try to roll for a minimum of 2-3 hours before stopping for anything....if a rest area is near met at that point then I'll pull in for a stretch and bathroom break. I have a app call MYDAT trucker that is fairly good at mapping out locations, just that at times it will give you locations that are on adjacent routes or in the wrong direction to the one your travelling.
Trip planning class states you need to plan for ALL stops, I find that a little difficult because what if I plan for a stop, get there and don't feel like stopping??...O well I guess time and experience will teach me more...

This is quite possibly my favorite resource on the road - It'll show all kinds of great stuff - truck stops, weigh stations, rest areas, low clearance, hotels with truck parking, Wal-Mart locations. It's my (digital) best friend!

I gotta try this one, thanks for the link moosc. I've used others but didn't really like them because they were more like looking at a list than a map.

You also have option to click on scale and mark it open or close. Trip routing. The only thing I wish it did better was say what aminties are available. Most time it just gives area restaurants. You also can post reviews somthing wish more drivers would do.

Its my favorite app as well, but misses alot. I wrote to them and asked if they could include a way for us to add locations and got a" just email us an we'll add it" a little irritating. But this has really helped my my planning
