Me and my Team driver are going to start our own Company/Authority. We have some money saved up and have done research and continue to do so. We would love to talk t ok 1 or 2 owner operators to ask some questions if possible. We've tried a few other places but nobody is willing to help. We're going to do it regardless but it would be much appreciated if anyone has a little time they could spare

Your "team"?? Can you explain that please? What experience and background does your team have?
Explain "company"? What kind of company?
In general, how much money?
Not willing to help? OR not willing to give you the answers you want to hear?
Thats bad business mindset right there. You need to get solid advice and research before making your mind up. You're getting the cart ahead of the horse and that's the mistake that 100% pf the people who don't make it, start out with.Sons Hero, Simeon678, TurkeyCreekJackJohnson and 2 others Thank this. -
Well, you've got the ear of several hundred OO here. You didn't ask any questions.
What do you want to hear?Sons Hero, Simeon678, Crude Truckin' and 2 others Thank this. -

Yea,it'll be difficult to get loads but we're gonna try direct also with past people we worked for also. My partner has 10 years OTR doing reefer, dry van, faltered. I have 5 years OTR doing dry van, reefer, stepdeck, flatbed, dry bulk tanker, logging trailers, intermodal. We're starting to try to talk to a few people but we just want to talk and the truth. Whatever the answer's are,is what they are. Whatever it takes to get there were willing. But were doing a lot of research and saving up a shiy load of money before making that leap

Everything. Whatever you can tell us from starting to finish im all ears. I'll listen for hours. I'd rather talk than text a million questions and you reply with a million answers but at least you will text. I appreciate it.
We have $40,000 saved up and are still saving for another $40k for maintenence/breakdown. We're looking at a few companies to lease our truck to so we can learn the ropes or the 2nd option, which is just get the Authority and either run the load boards or direct for a shipper. We are going to haul dry van, reefer and maybe flatbed. After we get into the groove of it we will expand into whatever we can within the industry hauling maybe dry bulk or logging trailers. We want to start a company that's the complete opposite of these Mega carriers. Treat and pay drivers right. Tell them the truth from the start and let them decide if they want to work at our company. Any tips, hints, information would greatly be appreciated -
We are doing research. I'm just stating my resolve and drive to do this correctly. Meaning we aren't going to give up. To me that's a great mindset
