Out of all the starter carriers with no experience required, who has the best C.P.M. and does a decent amount of mileage per week?

EDIT: please move this over to new drivers forum. Sorry!!

It's not about the high mileage pay, it's about the miles driven. I'd say it's almost impossible to find the perfect starter company. They're all the same bananas off of different trees

But Chinatown will chime in I'm sure. Because I can't think of any "best" ones

It depends on the freight you want to run and where you live, I like Magnum, but reefers aren't for everyone...

We are located in ND and hire drivers from aroun the country. Look at the Magnum LTD thread for good info on us. I personally live in Indiana and drive for them.

As a reefer company you have to be ok with waiting to get loaded and unloaded, and we drive a fair bit at night. Our equipment is 2015 and 2016 Peterbilt 579's with 2014,15, 16 Utility 3000R trailers. All trucks have APU's fridges and come with the touchscreen radio/nav system.

Pay varies depending on your 4 month average miles, fuel efficiency and safety - the average after 6 mths for a new driver is between $.46 - $.49 per mile. I don't know if the $3,000 longevity bonus is still in place, but you can call recruiting and ask them.

It all depends on where you live and what you want to do. You can get a job local as a rookie if that's what you want.

Obviously stay away from cr England, crst, werner, those 3 are the supreme bottom of the bottom in the bottom feeder world
