I've seen many trucks loaded like that out west, mostly long wheel base cab overs.

25 cpm at Werner,I don't think the startng pay has changed has it?I'll look one of these days and see what Werner starts their solo drivers at.Truckng is the lowest paying carreer out there and the way some gve raises is a huge slap in the face.

First paying driving job was in 2001 with a medical waste company, went to about 45 offices a day including coroners, hospitals, dentist ect ect, all in downtown Chicago. Had a 40' GMC COE straight truck, paid $12 hour.

First CDL job was as an O/O pulling Wal-Mart freight with Schneider out of Garrett, IN D.C. for $.90cpm

Before the MW job, i drove a wrecker and worked for Peterbilt also at the same time. Wrecker paid 30% of all tow charges and Peterbilt paid $10 hour as an apprentice (even tho I did all the dang work just like the "Union" mechs)

Started driving tractor-trailers hauling grain without a CDL and pulling upto 106,000lbs here by the house. First CDL job was hauling Septic Waste for $9 per hour and then pay went up depending how good you done your job? Yes I know its crap not alot you can mess up.

I got to keep any chickens that escaped off the truck, but I had to ride in the back of the airliner.
