I think after 8 years it would be more like 38 cents per mile.lets see,Stevens avg 2800 miles a weekat 38 cents around 1070 a week.other carriers lets be nice and give you 45 cents a mile, heck lets say 48 cents to be really dreaming at 2200 miles if your lucky.Thats what I think 1056.Pretty close. So yo had to drive a whopping 85 miles a day,in better equipment to make more money.I never.LMAO.

Let me recalculate those numbers for you kokol. At 3000 miles in a week you would be purchasing 500 gallons of fuel at $1.20 a gallon.Emulsified would be purchasing 400 at 67 cents.600 dollars to 280 dollars,a difference of 320 a week. That comes out to 16640 dollars in a year. Now are you really getting the point, lol.

Ok. You got your point, I've got mine. Let me show you...
@58MPH he CAN run 3480 Miles per 60 hour period..
@66MPH I CAN run 3960 Miles per 60 hours period.

These are although very theoretical values because average speeds for both will be lower, we WILL both sit anyway no matter what speed we're running.
@58 he can run 637 miles per day
    @66 I can run 715
Which will leave me, after I MT, more hours to give me another load while he'll be sitting because he'll need restart.
In addition, they know I can run longer loads in less time and will (and they do) give me longer runs with less time on it.

Trying to run slow for best MPGs makes perfect sense for those governed @62. The difference isn't big enough to make profitable. Quite the opposite. Especially with CAT. Run CAT # 62 and your MPGs will b horrible and not enough miles to pay for it.
    Cummings is different story entirely.
The difference between running 65-66 and 58 is too little and it more depends how much your weight is and how's the wind is blowing.

This month I came back on the road 3rd and as of yesterday, I ran already almost 14000 miles. Got another load with 1260 miles on it due tomorrow. Which will give me 15,000 miles in one month. Not bad I'd say for solo and this time of a year.

So kiss my "not so bright" buns.

Not very "bright" 15000 miles, extra mileage charge kicked in, maintenance cost increased, as you are wearing the truck out faster, and you are spending more on fuel. And there is NO way compliance will let you log 726 miles in 11 hours, it is called compression, and could result in a big fine for you and steven... don't believe it, go and see what DOT did to National Carriers and their drivers.

And in the real world, there is no way you can constantly run 66 mph, for 11 hours. So your figures are a pipe dream, and not based in real world...
Why not post a months worth of settlements to show us just how smart you are?

No wonder you have no money, no home time account, troubles at home...

    Working harder, for less money.
Still trying to justify your running so fast, yet complaining about how little money you have.

why is it the person who is unhappy, not making any money wants to tell those that are successful we are wrong? And wants to prove it with Theory, not facts.

Just one of life's questions.... or as ron white says, "you can't fix stupid"

Nobody said 726 miles. I said 715 which is doable quite easily especially out west on I10,20,30.

Troubles at home because I never been there. As I said before, during the whole year 2008 I was home whopping 6 days.

Know what? You run as suits you, I'll run as suits me. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. I stated my opinion, you called me stupid, life goes on.
    Happy recruiting.

I dont' care what you think. I've run across lots of smart *ss punk kids like you over the years. Think yours is the only opinion that counts. Well remember the old saying about opinions... Yes, I have that experience. Yes I drive for Stevens. Yes, I could go elsewhere, but I choose to stay where I am.
Maybe some day you'll grow up and find out the world doesn't revolve around you. In the meantime, go pester some other board.

You are not in a position to tell me which board I "pester". If you want to read all-positive-everyone-agree posts, maybe you should start new thread "High fives and shoulder pats".
